1. Scope of This Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern vehicle rentals made with Easy Rent sh.p.k. through our website, direct contact channels, or in-person booking confirmation. By confirming a reservation and collecting the vehicle, the renter accepts these terms and any details shown in the booking confirmation.
2. Reservations and Confirmation
- Reservations can be made online or through our support team.
- A booking is considered confirmed after required details and payment requirements are successfully completed.
- Vehicle class requests are subject to availability at pick-up time.
3. Rental Eligibility and Driver Responsibility
- The renter and any additional driver must present valid identification and a valid driving licence accepted in Albania.
- The renter remains responsible for compliance with this agreement during the full rental period.
- Any additional driver must be registered in the rental contract.
4. Pick-up, Return, and Vehicle Use
- The vehicle must be used lawfully and returned at the agreed time, location, and condition, subject to normal wear.
- The renter must follow road laws in Albania and any cross-border limitations listed in the booking terms.
- Smoking, illegal use, unauthorized sub-rental, or operation by unapproved drivers is prohibited.
5. Payments, Deposits, and Charges
- Rental charges, optional extras, and mandatory fees are displayed during booking and confirmed in the rental record.
- A refundable security deposit may be pre-authorized depending on vehicle class and coverage selection.
- Additional charges may apply for late return, fuel imbalance, tolls, fines, traffic penalties, extraordinary cleaning, or damage not covered by selected protection.
6. Insurance and Liability
- Coverage options and limits are presented during booking or contract finalization.
- The renter is liable for breaches, negligence, prohibited use, and losses outside agreed protection scope.
- Any incident, damage, or theft must be reported to Easy Rent and relevant authorities without delay.
7. Cancellations, Changes, and Extensions
- Booking changes and extensions are subject to availability and possible rate adjustment.
- Cancellation conditions depend on the selected rate and booking channel.
- If the rental period is exceeded without approval, additional charges and operational actions may apply.
8. Data and Communications
Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Service-related notices can be sent via email, phone, or other contact details provided by the renter.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
This agreement is interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Albania. Parties will first attempt good-faith resolution; unresolved disputes are handled by competent Albanian authorities.
